Conference Program

For 2003, VidTranS is offering some exciting new additions to our conference:

  • On Monday morning, we will be hosting a Keynote Panel discussion for Video Service Users. Four executives from large users of video services will be gathered together on stage, offering their viewpoints and responding to questions from the audience.
  • On Tuesday morning, we will be hosting a Keynote Panel discussion for Video Service Providers. Four executives from major video network suppliers will be gathered together on stage, offering their viewpoints and responding to questions from the audience.
  • Immediately preceding the conference, on Sunday afternoon, VidTranS will be offering a 4-hour course on the basic concepts of video and video signals*. The course will look at the historic, as well as conceptual, development of video as a medium for storage and transport of visual information.
This year, VidTranS will offer seventeen outstanding individual presentations, including:
